The death has occurred of Denis Flynn, Rahill, Rathvilly, Carlow/Leighlinbridge, County Carlow.

Formerly of Rathellen and Killenane Leighlinbridge, Co. Carlow. In the loving care of the Staff of the Sacred Heart Hospital Carlow. Deeply regretted by his loving brother Jack (Australia), nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Somers Funeral Home, Bagenalstown on Wednesday from 2pm to 7pm and on Thursday from 10am to 9pm. Removal on Friday morning arriving at St. Lazerian’s Church, Leighlinbridge for Funeral Mass at 11.oc. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. Donations, if desired, to the Sacred Heart Hospital, Carlow.

Patrick Ayres, Ballinabranna, County Carlow

The death has occurred of Patrick Ayres of Ballinabranna, County Carlow.

Patrick died suddenly at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Beloved husband of Catherine and much loved father of Sharon, Oliver and Dermot. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, sisters, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren Jasmine, Rhiannon, Brendan, Donal, Paschal, Hugh, Rachel, Karen and Laura, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his son Dermot’s home (Ballinabranna) from 12 noon on Wednesday. Removal on Thursday to St. Fintan’s Church, Ballinabranna for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Janet O’Grady (née Townsend), 8, Seven Springs, Tullow Road, Carlow Town/Leighlinbridge, County Carlow

The death has occurred of Janet O’Grady (née Townsend), 8, Seven Springs, Tullow Road, Carlow Town/Leighlinbridge, County Carlow.

Janet passed away peacefully at her home on May 7th 2017, after a short illness. Beloved mother of Dawn and Aaron, much loved partner of Jim and adored grandmother of Rebecca, Tadgh, Anna, Jayden and Joey. She will be sadly missed by her loving son, daughter, partner, grandchildren, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home from 6 p.m on Monday with Prayers at 7.30 p.m. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 3 p.m in St Lazarian’s Church, Leighlinbridge, Carlow followed by burial afterwards in Ballyknockon Churchyard.

John Byrne, Coolnakisha, Leighlinbridge, County Carlow

The death has occurred of John Byrne of Coolnakisha, Leighlinbridge, County Carlow.

Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Margaret and Mary, brother-in-law Tony, good neighbours Tommy and Claire Murphy and family, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Somers Funeral Home, Bagenalstown, on Saturday from 2 oc with rosary that evening at 9 oc. Removal on Sunday morning, arriving at St. Lazerian’s Church, Leighlinbridge, for Funeral Mass at 11 oc. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
