The death has occurred of John Curran, The Garage, Carlow Road, Leighlinbridge, County Carlow.

Very peacefully at his residence. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Rita (Nee Mannion) sons Pat, John, Brian and Noel, daughter Eileen, son-in-law Scott, daughter-in-law Majella, grandchildren, sisters Mary and Phyl, brother Michael, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Somers Funeral Home, Bagenalstown on Friday evening from 7.oc followed by removal on Saturday evening arriving at St. Lazerian’s Church, Leighlinbridge at 6.30oc. Funeral Mass on Sunday Morning at 11.oc followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Care of the Aged. Rosary will be recited in Somers Funeral Home at 9.oc on Friday evening. House Strictly Private Please.

The death has occurred of Matt Carey of Carey’s, Old Leighlin, County Carlow.

Matt passed away peacefully on January 9th, 2015 at his home. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ellen and much loved father of Marion, Stella, Denis and John. He will be sadly missed by his loving, sons, daughters, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, brother Patsy, sisters Greta and Annette, brother-in-law Sean, sisters-in-law Peggy, Lena and Josie, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at his home from 5pm on Sunday and reposing from 12 noon on Monday with Prayers at 9pm. Removal on Tuesday at 10.30am to St. Lazarian’s Church, Leighlinbridge, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Old Leighlin Cemetery, Carlow. House private on Tuesday. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Carlow/Kilkenny Homecare Team.
