Old Leighlin Basketball club was set up in 1997 to cater for a high level of local interest. The club has proved very popular since its establishment and has flourished with the development of the community hall in 2005. The club has two women’s and three men’s teams who compete in the Kilkenny and Midland Leagues. The club is particularly strong at juvenile level (age 8 to 18) and currently has 10 teams who have won their own leagues for competition purposes. New members always welcome
